Don’t be such a CHICKEN.
So I went to the zoo with my GF this last weekend. I have always had a fear of birds (In case you didn’t know already). I had a really bad experience when I was about 7. I was looking at a bird in a bird cage and tried to put my finger in the cage. In the process I knocked the cage down (which was hanging from a ceiling shaft BY A HANGER!!) and all 8 BIRDS (different birds in 1 small cage, parrots, finches, canaries, you name it) all flew up at me. These birds WERE NOT TAME and I still have scars to prove it. So after some counceling and coaching from Chrissie, I finally built up the courage to go into Bird World at the Denver Zoo. This was crazy. The ugliest creatures to me. They are very undpredictable and know that I’m afraid of them, and love to fly towards me and flap their wings, squack and laugh. I’m not some loony on Maury Povich who is afraid of aluminum foil or spongebob squarepants, but I have good reasons to be afraid of these birds. Anyway, we went in and got out of their pretty quickly. Chrissie was a trooper and went into the snake area to try and over come her fear as well. That’s about as close to birds I hope I ever get again. For now I will retaliate and eAt MOr cHiKen!!! Chik fil-A here I come!

I’m so proud of you for going into the free flying chaos of massively large birds that is called Bird World! At least you didn’t traumatize a 2 year old with your fear of birds like I did with the snakes. (I still feel bad about that.) Anyway, you get your revenge with chicken sandwiches.
ok so as i was reading this i was trying not to laugh, but i can understand how traumatizing that can be! we used to have a million and one chickens and i hated feeding them becuase they would lunge at me and chase me around, not cool..good job tho facing your fears!!
